33cl bottle. A clear amber beer with a beige head. Aroma of red fruts, some herbs, leaves, straw. Taste of red fruits, caramel, red malt, cerelas, caramel.

Trockener, stark herber Beginn. Mild grasig, getreidig hopfig. Im Mittelteil steigt die Intensität an, moderat herb, frisch. Trocken hopfiger Abgang, getreidig, rund. 11/9/9/9/8/9

17/09/2018 @home - 33cl bottle from Malt Attacks. Dark amber, big foamy off-white head. Nose is cow fodder, grains, caramel, bit fruits. Taste is grains, caramel, spice, orange, bit yeast.

At ZBF 2017. New beer company in the wider Liège region, brewing at de la Croix and already presenting several batches of IPAs made with different New World hop combinations; I’m guessing this blonde version with Centennial, Cascade and Simcoe was their first one (followed by a stronger amber version with Citra and Mosaic). Dense and creamy, egg-white, stable head leaving some ’papery’ lacing around the glass, crowning a cloudy straw blonde beer with deeper ochre-ish tinge. Aroma of fresh grapefruit, pineapple, sweet red onions, pine resin, minerals, bread crumbs, orange peel, green melon, faint hint of passion fruit. Crisp, fruity onset, pineapple, light banana, sweet ripe pear, very sharply overcarbonated though, numbing the flavours. Cereally, lightly bready malt backbone, softly bittering hoppy finish with retronasal sweet onion, grapefruit peel and unripe mango accents, juicy. Pretty standard for a present-day IPA in terms of pure concept and - probably unintentionally - turning out somewhat too ’Belgian’ in practice, with Belgian yeastiness (esters) clashing a bit with the pure hop aromas; overcarbonated too - but all things considered, a tasty and modern Belgian craft beer as far as I’m concerned, decent start. I hope they can reduce the yeast effects a bit but I’m sure this project has the potential to lead to really good IPAs sooner or later.

Murky amber colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have lots of fresh malts. Fairly light bodied. Increasing level of bitterness in the aftertaste.

Thank you for sharing German speaking RB Crew! Sampled draft @ ZBF 2017. Hazy orange, little bubbles. Nose is weirdly sweet, grain, overly BE, sugar,... Uhm yeah,... Taste is grainy, very stale malt, sugar, grain, vegetable, green appel, very weak given the hops etc, bit vegetable, lacking hop,... Body is grain, vegetable,... Tackles a concept lacking all basics.

Cloudy blond with thin head. Aroma and flavour are full of fresh, sweet malts . Only lightly hopped. Nice to have a fresh full-on malt beer.

Sampled @ Zythos Bier Festival 2017. Trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier. Geruch angenehm harzig hopfig, leicht grasig. Geschmack ist angenehm harzig hopfig, fruchtig, nett.
