A reddish copper ale with a very thin off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with vinous notes, treacle, light butterscotch, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with, light acidity, vinous character, light mineral notes, nice and complex, beautiful. Bottle at Dark Lord Day 2018.

4 oz. draft at Iowa TapRoom, Des Moines, IA. Shows a near clear amber/ orange color. Aroma is a nice blend of Citra and grassy hops. Mouthfeel is real nice with a nice malt to hop ratio. ABV is totally hidden and drinks lighter than the gravity would suggest. This was a pleasure to sample.

Keg at El Bait Shop. Black, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, coconut, chocolate. Taste is coconut, chocolate, nuts (but that might just be because this reminds me of Almond Joy), roast. Medium bodied. Nice.
