Bottle. Color: Clear pale golden, thin white head. Aroma: A lot of farmyard and stable like funk. Taste: Again very funky, some white wine, subtle fruity grape, apple and citrus notes, malty with hints of old hop. Moderate tart. Just below medium body, just below average carbonation. Dry mouthfeel. Nice.

Pours very dark, almost black, and a small beige head that remains for a long time. Aroma's of roasted malts, ground coffee, a bit umami. Retronasal it's sweetish, roasted, spices, ground coffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate roasted bitter. Medium bodied. Finish is full of roast and end quite bitter. Good!

(Bottle, 0.33 l, from Bierkoning, 20230908) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and hops. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, hops, sweetness, chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste had cocoa powder, ash and bitterness. Tasty.
