Bottle. Color: Clear pale golden, thin white head. Aroma: A lot of farmyard and stable like funk. Taste: Again very funky, some white wine, subtle fruity grape, apple and citrus notes, malty with hints of old hop. Moderate tart. Just below medium body, just below average carbonation. Dry mouthfeel. Nice.

Wow! Lucky to try this, my last beer of the festival, as they were closing down. The bartender poured me a generous bit of this, the 2024 Carnivale Brettanomyces festival beer made with all the dregs of the beers from the 2023 participants. Actually good.

Pours very dark, almost black, and a small beige head that remains for a long time. Aroma's of roasted malts, ground coffee, a bit umami. Retronasal it's sweetish, roasted, spices, ground coffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate roasted bitter. Medium bodied. Finish is full of roast and end quite bitter. Good!
