16 oz. can from a liquor store in Arvada, CO. Pours a crystal clear deep gold color with an eggshell colored head and very good retention. Good lacing too. Lots of streaming bubbles. As expected, it has a sweet, sugary aroma. The taste is similar to the nose: Sweet birthday cake-like flavor, but not as sweet as the aroma would suggest. Maybe a sugar free cake? Tastes more like a cream ale than a blonde ale. It's clean and smooth. Okay, but not something I would reach for again. Medium-light body. Soft, creamy mouthfeel. Lower than average carbonation. Not bitter.

500ml bottle - viscous purple pour - pours basically still - nose of caramelized sugars, treacle, plum, brown sugar, light smoke, oxidation, mild background buttery diacetyl - slick mouthfeel - medium to high sweetness - treacle, plum, black cherry - light earthy peat - mild oxidation and a light acidity that might be the onset of an infection, but at this stage just adds a balancing contrast to the sweetness and compliments the fruity qualities to a degree - lingering dark fruit and a hint of chocolate - overall it is actually fairly enjoyable despite the minor flaws - with some fine tuning, particularly in the barrel aging process, it could be a real winner.

16 oz. can. Pours a clear, golden color, with a fleeting, fizzy head. The aroma is cinnamon, lemon zest, coconut, butterscotch, and grass clippings. Sweet and malty, with a light bitterness. Light and smooth. Reasonable.
