Actually comes across quite light. Easy drinking crushable, great lager qualities while being modernized. Billies craft beer fest 2024

Can on the hotel balcony Aegina, picked up from one of the Athens craft places, 13/10/24. Hazed orange topped with a white head. Nose is mixed tropical fruit esters, citric tinged straw, melon, grass. Taste comprises grapefruit, grass, pine needle, melon, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA.

Can on the hotel balcony Aegina, picked up from one of the bars in Athens, 13/10/24. Clear golden to very light amber topped with a good sized just off white head. Nose is grapefruit, orange zest, mandarin, melon, straw. Taste comprises mellow tropical fruits, malt forward, melon, citric tinged straw, hint of grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with grassy hop bitterness. Okay pale ... artwork on the can looked ballsy but the contents was firmly stuck in 3rd gear.

440ml can. Slightly milky, orange golden colour with average to huge, thick, dense, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Piney, resinous and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, pale malty background with a touch of almond, notes of pine, resin, lemon, some pineapple. Taste is rather watery, bitter, slightly piney and resinous, minimally citrusy fruity hoppy, diluted hints of lemon, weak, pale malty basis; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Almost IIPA nose, sadly quite watery taste - not bad overall.

can from b for beer, chania, crete fantastic refreshing citrussy exotic fruity hop heavy aroma. flavor is citrussy piney grapefruity and fruit peely bitter hops with a malty base that is reasonably crisp but does not really manage to base all those hops well. The flavor is mostly grapefruity with other notes adding to that base flavor. the other notes are mostly citrus fruity and adds some freshness to the beer. some notes are just at a crazy level bitterhoppy, so this is a hop bomb or perhaps more like a rain of hop-grenades.

can from B is for beer, chania, crete flowery resiny aroma of slighlty tired malts and hops, good level of aroma and body for a 5.6% beer. flavor is flowery, neutral malty, full bodied, bitterness towards the end is quite high, also in the end, sweet malts starts to show. Enjoyable APA. good bitterness. this one feels a bit old, but the flavor is in no way off, good craftmanship.

Can from B for beer, Chania the alcohol is strong in this one, I also get vanilla, coffee, dark caramel, some roasted malts, cocnut. these notes are more like flavoring stuff or flavors has been added, than more subtle methods like barrelling, wood chips, etc. also a bourbon/wood note though, bit faint, perhaps it's been on bourbon soaed wood chips too. flavor is bourbon and coconut, decent roasted malty balance, strong roasted malty, faint coffee ending, also notes of dark chocolate, vanilla, coconut. The flavor is way better than the aroma, flavor is more like a whole, much better balanced. Aroma also have this alc. sting, which the flavor has not. Very good flavor. probably 8.3. The beer is a true imperial stout, very brutal, very full bodied and very flavorful - it has this artificialness about it also in the flavor but much less than aroma. And the flavor is real good, great balance, better than most other pastry imperial stouts.
