Straight from can during a hike at 'De Ginkelse Heide'. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Blueberry, vanilla and roasted malt. Taste: Again fruity blueberry in front, followed by vanilla and roasted malt and lactose. Hints of cocos. Hoppy backbone. Some bitterness at the finish. Smooth over medium body, below average carbonation. Mostly sweetish but not overly sweet. I like the fruitiness of the blieberry, adding some complexity. Ok overall.

Blik thuis geprobeerd. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een volle bruinige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van drop en rozijnen. De smaak is vol zoet, gedroogd fruit en kokos.

Nose is orange pith, grass, pineapple, mandarin, melon.
Taste comprises grapefruit, pine needle, grass, mandarin, melon, papaya.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come grassy hop bitterness.
Tidy enough DIPA that carries a good bitter aspect to it.

Can. Usual gothic skull nonsense on the can made me think this was another straight AT can. One or two cans with this type of art is impactful, after dozens it's really bloody boring. A mild to medium haze on this yellow gold beer, a small bubbly pale cream colour head, usual life span - short. Light palate, mildly dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Light bodied pale malts, quite a forward creamy sweetness. Crisp cooling pine and fair hop spice nip. Bright and reasonably juicy hop fruits, citrus, a little candy and something else, stone fruits mostly. Crisp hop spicy finish. A little sweet overall but delivering some sharp hoppage.
