Tap at Teacher's. Pitch black body, off-white, thick head. Raisins in the slightly metallic aroma, bit nuttty, vague nut&raisin chocolate vibes, but without much chocolate. Medium body, sweetish aspects but finishing fairly dry. Coffee, raisin notes, light roast, bit soapy, it was a bit grainy at first sip, but that settled into some cheap chocolate background. Bitterish finish, lightly herbal, some alcohol in the aftertaste. A good dark beer I'd say, if a bit too wintery for August.

Tap at the brewpub. Bit hazy golden body, lightly darker, thick off-white head. Floral, mildly fruity aroma, spicy touch. Extremely dried out taste, citric touch and some spicy, borderline phenolic touches, veeery high carbonation. Lasting bitterness in the finish. Hard to drink because of the carbonation sadly, which brings the score down...

On tap at the brewpub. Black coloured, medium sized beige head, light chocolate in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee and some hops with roasty bitter finish. Moderate bitter.

On tap at the brewpub. Brownish with white head. Some caramel, malty, sweetish, some weird fruity notes, seems off. Not that easy to drink.

On tap at the brewpub - thx Iznogud/Travlr/Ryan. Hazy yellow-golden body, white head. Yeasty, bit wheaty and phenolic aroma. Lean, dry taste, minerally, vaguely wheaty, some herbal notes. Meh, okay, not a proper hefeweizen really, but the best they had that day.
