can gusher can.much unexpected for the style. got my desk and chair and floor wet. Aroma is somewhat nutty malty with a solid hoppy bitterness to balance. Flavor is well rounded aromatic slightly nutty slightly toasted malty with a sold fruit peel bitter and just plain bitter hoppy balance. the hops reminds me a bit of ESB and european hoppy beers - however, there are very nice flowery fruity notes hidden beneath the citrus fruit peel'y bitterness. It does remind me of some of the good US ipa's as they were in the 2000s.

Flowery belgian blonde ale aroma, yeast and malts driven but with some finer notes from the hops. aroma is very belgian, good cover version of a strong belgian yellow ale. Flavor is malty and slightly bitter malty, bitter from alc. bitter from flowery hops, even slightly bretty like sort of spicy bitterness from the yeast.. complex total flavor profile, a bit sweet flowery, more brutal than balanced and well composed - still, the authentic belgian strong ale is there.. doesn't taste like a copy.

Draught @ Hopleaf, Chicago (Oct 2024). Faintly clear burgundy red with very small frothy off-white head, acidic-woodsy aroma, low carbonation, medium tart woodsy grape taste, basement flavors, thin body, long tart finish. Quite funky taste that overpowers though the grape flavor is there.

can perfumey but distinctly herbal and flowery hoppy aroma. lots of hops, although they are european in their presentation. flavor is flowery hoppy, herbal hoppy, in a way juicy hoppy but very gently, great european bitterhoppy ending and balance, crisp malty. Reminds me of well hopped european pilseners, but then, this is an ale. still, pretty good flavor.

Bottle at Rassia tasting. Golden with white head. Floral elderflower, grapes, a bit of oak. Mildly tart citrus coming in at the end. Refreshing and effervescent.
