"StreuBräu Altenfurter Lagerbier : ALB", Flasche von den unschlagbaren Getränkerittern, 29.10.2025. - Ins Kupferrot spielendes Goldbraun, leicht trüb. - Vielversprechende Nase mit herkömmlicher aber hochwertiger Hopfung. - Kernig gerstiger Antrunk mit leiser, blaß karamelliger Restsüße und solider hopfenwürzig-herbaler Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig, fast Märzen-artig. Im Abgang trockene, solide herbale Hopfenbittere. - Ein Frankenlager wie ich es schätze: solide im Malzkörper und kernig-aromatisch in der Hopfung, mit Tiefgang aber gut trinkbar, alltagstauglich ohne banal zu sein.

500ml bottle. Minimally milky, orange, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally bready, spicy and biscuity, pale malty as well as mildly grassy and slightly citrusy fruity, hoppy and minimally yeasty fruity aroma, hints of mandarine, a touch of mirabelle. Taste is sweet-ish, spicy, pale malty and moderately bitter, earthy grassy and slightly fruity, minimally herbal-leafy hoppy, hints of mandarine, a touch of thistle. Slightly oily, watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Clean, nice balance between earthy and fruity hop flavours, well matching malty backbone - pretty decent.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Honeyish golden colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is honey, some sweet floral tones with mild herbs, grass and sweet malts as well. Flavour is grassy, herbal, some bready tones with mild yeast and some slight honey and floral tones too.

--Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. -- Almost clear deep golden, rich firm head. Intense floral hop aroma with some hay. Mid dry with light to medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Dry bready malt covereed in thick layers of noble floral hops. Long bitter finish. Elegant and pleasant.
