We believe in making great beer with clean, natural ingredients and hard work. We don’t use flavorings, additives or extracts while always trying new recipes and ideas, all with the goal of loving people and our planet.

Growing up, Pawleys Island was a constant source of joy in the Blake brothers’ lives. While brewing a batch of home-brew at Pawleys on the front porch their grandfather built, the idea of Pawleys Island Brewing was born. The goal was to bring the same joy and Pawleys’ charm to the world in the form of beer.

16oz at Whole Foods West Ashley, pours an opaque black, mocha head. Licorice, molasses and toast on the nose. Flavors of chocolate, tootsie roll, molasses, licorice, malt.. Sweet and full bodied. 7 4 7 4 13

Coquina Pineapple Ale from Pawleys Island Brewing Company

Opaque butterscotch color with grapefruit hops aroma. Taste more hoppy than 12 IBU but it fades quickly to a slight pineapple sweet flavor. Similar to a mild IPA.

Bomb Island Berliner from Pawleys Island Brewing Company

Opaque yellow color with white head. Aroma of sour lemons and alcohol. Nice tart flavor, not overly sour but has nice tartness. Smooth and easy to drink, good flavor.
