(bottle, 100cl, purchased at a local Netto market) Clear, pale golden colour without any head to speak of. Slightly sour apple-fruity aroma with mineralic notes. Slightly sour-tart flavour, light bodied with a shy carbonisation. Fruit-accented taste of green apples with a dry and slightly tart mouthfeel. Like a slightly diluted version of the common Possmann Applewine. Calm and drinkable. 07.IX10

(bottle, 100cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a short frothy white rim that fades quickly. Fresh and slightly tart apple fruity aroma with a delicately touch of vinegar. Moderately sour flavour, light to medium bodied, almost no carbonation. Pronounced apple character with a dry and slightly tart mouthfeel; dry and mildly sour-fruity finish. Fairly good example of the style, which is not exactly Cider but Hessian/German Applewine. 24.08.10
