Sample thanks to danlo. Cheers mate. Pours a misty golden orange. Solvent-like varnish hint to an aroma of oak barrel. Quite a juicy, acidic blend with natural wild nuances, quite tangy down the throat with a roughened funky tannic depth. Nice old school cider, like it should be.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 08/05/23. Clear copper with a thin white cap that veers edgewards. Nose is ripe apple, caramel, sugars, straw, oak. Taste comprises sharp apple, tannins, light acidic bite, funk, straw, sguars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a tangy edge. Decent cider ... sweet edge but also balanced with a nip of acidity and some funk.

1L plastic bottle from Greendale Farm shop, Exeter. Clear orangey gold colour, no head and aroma of apple, acetic funk, woody. Taste is sweet, apple, fruity, funky, orchardy, woody, acetic with bittersweet drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium sweet tannic finish. Very drinkable.

From a bag in the box at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 23/08/10. Deep gold with a slight haze. The JDW "best of the west" cider festival tasting notes are unclear whether this was the dry or medium version, but it certainly tasted like the latter to me. Easy drinking with plenty of fresh apple juice, a slight mineral edge and tart finish. Very drinkable.
