Handpull cask at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Pours a medium gold and very clear with a loose white head. White grape and gooseberry on the nose with some sweet biscuity malt underpinning. Sweet hoppy taste with an intense almost sulphurous astringent giving balance. Bitter hops come in for the very dry finish. Flat oily body. As English as you like but with loads of character.

Keg draught at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Ruby brown, Transit a small beige/khaki head. Resinous notes with some watercress in the aroma. Sweet taste, a bit herbal, with a relatively intense bitterness in the finish. I like this style so maybe a slight overrate but this is solid.

Keg tap at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Deep gold and clear with a film of off-white head and loads of lacing. Loads of orange and lemon peel in the aroma with sweet cooking spice. Mostly sweet taste with spiced marmalade notes and a slightly metallic hoppy bitterness near the finish. Carbonation on the heavy side. Nice.
