Like someone poured some old lady perfume in an otherwise nice stout. Dark roast coffee and chocolate and anise notes offer up plenty of stout goodness, but the lavender is overpowering, giving the beer an incredibly floral potency that clings to the palate. Almost good, but not.

Super bright hop notes, almost to the point it initially tastes like a sour, with very strong white wine notes backed up by berry and a touch of minerals. Finishes with a slight graininess and a mild fade. Not bad.

Pretty shaky, even for a corn lager. Corn sweetness is modest, but there’s a wort-ish funkiness in the background, and a sharp tart note underneath. Stick with Naked Light.

Chocolate, marshmallow, graham cracker malt, and hay aroma. Black with moderate tan head. Moderately sweet chocolate, marshmallow, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body.

Good, but a bit muted, with subtle notes of grapefruit and stone fruit, but not much else, against notes of wet grain malt and a gentle bitterness on the back end. Not bad.

Very nice West Coast IPA, lots of grapefruit backed up by a mellow graininess and lingering notes of pine. Finishes moderately bitter, with a lingering citrus zest fade. Good beer.

Hazy session IPA, with the expected big, juicy rush on the front and nothin’ at all bringing up the rear. Grapefruit, passion fruit, and berry lead to a malt-free finish. Good for the style, but not a great style.
