Tap at the brewpub. Glad I caught it too! Shared with some of CZ's best homebrewers hahah. Black body, beige to off-white head, thick. Odd aroma, dark malts, herbal, bit metallic, my first thought was a touch of formic acid, but it kinda made sense in general. The taste was a marked improvement immediately. Lean, dry, yet soft, coffee and dark chocolate roastiness, low citric hoppy notes, expanding as it warms - more on the citric than coconut side. Complex and tasty enough, and very drinkable, despite some light astringency from the black malts. Maybe my favorite of theirs!

Tap at the brewpub. Misty golden body, lasting thick off-white head. Citric aroma, sweetish, salty?, lightly funky, bit herbal. Lean, dry citric taste, orange, kveikish sourness, herbal bitter and astringent finish... too astringent in the end. Very uneven overall sadly.

Benannt nach einem Stausee im der Nähe von Brünn, welcher auch ein beliebtes Naherholungsgebiet 🏊♂️ ist.
Also wer sich ein supertoll kreatives Session erwartet, ist vielleicht enttäuscht, aber wenn man ein klassisches, gemütliches Sommerbier will 🌞, kommt man schon hin. Es ist ein ordentlich gehopftes und gekochtes Bier, das etwas voller als der Klassiker ist, aber trotzdem eine gute Erfrischung für den Frühling 🪷 ist.

Den Einstieg in einen verregneten 🌧️, aber bierigen 🍺 Nachmittag in Brünn machte dieses Bier.
Es ist ein feines Zwölfgrädiges mit schönen brotig-getreidigen Aromen gepaart mit einer ordentlichen Süffigkeit 🌊.

From tap @ the source. Head is big, white, good retention. Colour is pale gold, light hazy. Aroma is citrus, herbal, oxidized, tropical fruits. Taste is light malty base, grapefruit, pineapple, long lasting bitterness, medium carbonation, ok for the style, enjoyed.

From tap @ the source. Head is big, tan, good retention. Colour is black opaque. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, citrus, dark bread crust. Taste is medium malty base, roasted tones, coffee, dark bread, citrus, nice balanced bitterness, bit like dark IPA yet more drinkable, enjoyed.

(PET bottle 1l from brewery) Overall: Ok. Only a little rye character in mouthfeel, weird hops character (which I don't like). Aroma: Hops, grassy, some weird character (menthol/mint/dill/vegetal). Appearance: Clear golden color. Persistent white head. Taste: Light sweet, hops, grassy, same weird character. Palate: Medium body. Light oily texture. Bitter finish.

Tap at the brewery. Medium body, med-high carbonation. Silky creamy mouthfeel. Medium bitterness, slightly metallic, light sweetness. Weird cheesy old hops, borderline oxidated. Average at best in its category. Drinkable, but overall poor in the craft category.

Tap at the brewery. Med-thin body, medium carbonation. Lots of oxidation, lots of unpleasant metallic and soapy feeling, this beer is a big fail. Empty and full of flaws. Hops character on vacation. Overall really bad
