Pour is a cloudy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is a nice saison yeast with some vanilla and the lime takes a back seat. Flavor is again a nice yeast ester with a nice floral herbal white pepper. Again the lime is barely noticable. There is a tartness after the swallow but it is very minor. As a regular old saison this is pretty good. You almost did not need the addition of the key lime.

32oz growler, filled at Kingβs Convenience, pours with a near clear deep gold body that supports a thin white head. The aroma offers up grapefruit, floral hops, some onion like spicy dankness and then mild sweet bready malts. The taste delivers a pleasing degree of tangelo, grapefruit, mango and pineapple juicy fruity hoppiness with a quick hit of spicy bitter dank onion hops too. It gets resiny and grassy around the edges where a mild level of earthy tea hops are also noticed. This is a big big beer but the ABV is fairly well hidden. So far, with a half a glass down, this is working really well as the hops are there and maintain some harmony where I was expecting more of a flawed boozy beer. Into the finish there are also thin layers of bitter floral hops amid bitter spicy onion dankness. This is a really nice sipper. Well done.

16oz can pours with a clear pure gold body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma offers some grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine and a light cracker maltiness in the background. The taste is nice with grapefruit, tangerine and pineapple like fruity hop bitterness leading into thin citrus juicy hops. Just like in the nose there is a pleasing light cracker like maltiness thatβs working well here. This is a solid bitter hopped session beer.

Draft half pint pour at Chucks 85th. Lighter pale golden pour with a spotty fizz head. Dank, grassy hops aroma. Flavor is a match, grassy stinging hops. Citrus bitter to close out the flavor profile. An interesting session. Bold and bitter hop centered. Cool side finish. Pretty good beer.

Draft/Fest. A- Pine, dank. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Pine, tropical fruits. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Pretty standard DIPA. I have to say, I like the Wolf Pup session better. Almost the same but the session showcases the fruity side of the hops so much better than here where the pine bitterness is the forefront.
