Bottle. Creamy, lactic nose, oranges, creamsicle, spices. Very cloudy, dirty gold. A bit raspy in the flavor, tangy, apricot, yogurt, pineapple funk, something gin-like. Needs some work.

Bottle shared by BuckeyeBoy. Served in a snifter, a deep reddish brown with a rusty head. Chocolate, sweet syrupy cherry aroma. Chocolatey, smokey, a bit of fruity cherries. Great stuff, one of my favorites of the night and in marked contrast to their Astrodamus which was one of my least favorites.

Astrodamus Woodland Empire 9.3% It pours a light straw gold with a soft sour camomile/field of herbs & wild flowers. I really liked the nose. Wow quite sour, lactic, tart a bit of baby sick/bile which really turned me off. I see it as a work in progress .

Bottle shared by BuckeyeBoy. Black with a pretty tan head. Nose of soy, berries, cocoa, fudge, smoke, cherries. A bit phenolic maybe, or is that just smoke and cherries? Flavor is chocolate, tobacco, roasty charcoal. Good stuff.

On Tap at the Boise taproom. hazy golden/peach color with a coarse blocky head that sticks to the sides of the glass in clumps. Pale malty slightly papery flavors. Some hints of the lemon and I suppose pomelo (?) A little late bitterness but surprised at the listed 70IBUs. Low carbonation and a little funky.
