On Tap at the Boise BP Slightly hazy deep golden with a fine silky white head and thin even sheets of lacing. Liht pale malt aroma, lots of grassy woody hop flavopr. rather strong in this way. Light and clean and crisp bitter finish.

Draft @ The Grove. Cloudy orange color, sort of murky, topped with a finger of sticky off-white head. Quite a bit of sticky lacing. At first I thought this was a hef when they brought it over... nose is citrus and caramel, maybe a little floral. OK, at least it seems to be heading in the direction of a pale ale. There is a fair bit of citrus hops, lighter in the florals, and a moderate malt backer. It seems a little thin. Nothing that would stop me from having a second pint, but plenty of room for refinement.

Perfect winter warmer, enjoyed on a cold, damp day. All of the elements come together perfectly, aroma, taste, body, appearance....truly enjoyable. Hints of barrel aging accent the nice malts and hint of hops. Get it while it lasts!

On tap at boise pub. Pours out a nice looking copper amber topped with a long lasting sand head. Nose is as a Berliner some berry notes and a nice soft malt. Taste is berries not much funk like I was thinking from the nose. A good malt and hop touch. I wasn’t sure what to expect put it is pretty good. I love that they keep trying and doing new fun stuff.

Bottle with thanks to JohnGalt1 for this rarity! Slight slow-mo gusher on opening, but nothing too problematic. Pours cloudy dirty yellow, medium white head, dissipates fairly quickly with nice residual and lacing. Aroma is wheat, herbal, funky, tangy, musty - mushroom. Sourdough starter; that explains a lot. Flavor is light tart, sharp funky mushroomy dark dank room tastes, lemon. Light body, well carbonated. This is an interesting beer for sure, but anything that reminds me of mushrooms is going to be a tough sell.

On tap at Boise pub. Pours out a copper topped with a white head. Nose is a nice citrus hop along with some bread malts. Taste is as the nose with a nice citrus hop and a good malty balance.

On tap at Boise pub. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts chocolate and a good citrus hop. Taste is a great balance of dark malts some chocolate sweetness and a good hoppy kick.

On tap at Boise pub. Pours out a muddy brown topped with a small head. Nose is apple spice brown sugar licorice and molasses. Taste is as the nose with a nice apple touch some spice and a great sweetness throw out.

A bit more subdued, almost sessionable, lighter bodied and hued IPA. Citrus hoppiness in both flavor and aroma. Another great beer from Woodland.
