Decent hops here--grapefruit and lime. Dark copper pour with fluffy head that sticks for a bit. A little caramel and leather. Decent character, and not too sweet or boozy. Bittersweet finish. Can I had says 7.5 percent. Probably among the better 2SP beers I've had.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy, amber orange pour. Frothy beige head. Earthy, toasted malt aroma. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor. This is anything but pale. But it has nice flavor and body. Sweet sticky malt and resiny pine hops. Quite uncharacteristic for the style.

On tap at Monk’s Cafe. Pours black with medium beige head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is licorice, cocoa, roasted malt, cracker. Slick body, cracker, licorice, chocolate malt, light dry finish, very good.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy orange gold color. Large frothy beige head. Nice lacing. Fragrant citrus fruit aroma. Notes of tangerine, lemon and passion fruit. Sticky mouthfeel. Orange, lemon and grapefruit on the palate. Big bittersweet notes. Finishes with a hint of sulphur, fresh herbs and crushed pepper.
Fantastic. DDH, grapefruit. Absolute crusher.

A hazed golden ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light treacle, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. On tap at Maxfields.

Roast and coffee. Less bad than I thought it would be, given it's a gas station beer. Lots of oak and lots of root. Dark brown pour. Kind of an asteingent in the finish. Bottle.

16 ounce can. 2SP beer rating number 25. Nearly opaque black brown color. Dense, creamy tan head. Strong roasted malt aroma is redolent of dark coffee. Flavor is sweet roasted malt, dark coffee, milk chocolate and vanilla. Rich and creamy with a silky mouthfeel from the oats. Quite delectable.

The lighting in this bar is weird but this coloration is strange. Bright yet clear amber? Nose and tastes of almost nothing. Body is water. Maybe some malt on finish that lets you know not nothing.
