Black coffee, with a nice sweetness from the vanilla.

Bottle shared by my brother: pours black With a beige head. Aroma is coffee, vanilla, chocolate. Pretty rich taste. Coffee and bourbon work well. Actually quite good.

Bottle shared by my brother: pours near black with small head. Aroma is coffee, some spice, some roast, hints of chocolate. Rum barrel is noticeable, some spice notes, plenty of coffee.

12oz can. Juicy I suppose, but really doesn't capture the style well at all. Drinkable, but just a half hearted attempt at the style. Would not revisit. Simcoe and Cascade lead in a different direction.

12oz can from my brother. Black pour with a thin beige head which fades to ring. Aroma is sweet, chocolatey, with minor bourbon notes. Taste brings more chocolate, sweet, minor bourbon presence. A bit sweet and not overly strong. Approachable. Follow on: much better as it warms. Sweetness fades, bourbon picks up. Still chocolatey AF.

16oz can. Clear golden pour, small foamy head. Aroma and taste are clean, crisp biscuit malts with a nice dry, gentle finish.

16oz can. Thick orange body, steady white head. The Triple IPA dextrose/sugar backbone isn't my thing. If this is just malt I apologize, but it tastes thin and one-dimensional. Juicy, big Idaho & notes, tangy Citra.. Pleasant hop tone, gets better as it breathes. Grew on me. OK.

16 ounce can. Hazy orange gold pour. Rocky beige head. Earthy, bready malt aroma is redolent of juicy citrus fruit. Sweet citrus flavor is complimented by stone fruit and melon notes. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. A touch of green onion and mint on the backend. Quite tasty indeed.

Draught at Brother's reception: pours gold with white head. Grain, biscuit, light hops in nose. Sweet, low bitterness. Respectable pils.
