Op tap bij La Verriere, Concarneau. Troebele diepgouden kleur, witte kraag. Flink gekruid, voornamelijk de Szechuanpeper, geparfumeerd, overheerst ook in de smaak, hint van jasmijn, bittere finish. Lichte body. Mwah.

6/6/2026. Bottle at the June ITFC beer share. From Norwich Arts Centre fundraiser following World Beer Awards. Sweet, fruity, soapy, malty, yeasty, floral. Medium sweet, some nice developing bitterness. Quite drinkable.

Bière de printemps à la jolie robe jaune dorée, légèrement trouble, coiffée d’une mousse fine et discrète. Nez délicat, à dominante florale, évoquant le jasmin comme annoncé sur l’étiquette.
Attaque fraîche, légère, avec une bouche florale élégante, bien dans l’esprit de la saison. L’ensemble est désaltérant, facile à boire, avec une belle sensation de fraîcheur qui appelle les beaux jours. Je regrette simplement de ne pas l’avoir dégustée un peu plus fraîche pour en profiter pleinement.
