Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Hazy golden, faint head. Interesting aroma with brett and hay complimented by rosemary and vinegar. Dry and light bodied, slender and fresh. Notes of buckwheat, lemon and gass. Hugely drinkable, yet with remarkable complexity. My kind of beer!

Bottle. Pours a very hazy orange with a red hue and a large white head. Aroma has a sour note with some citrus hops as well for an interesting combination. Flavor begins with some citrus and oak notes and has slight sour note that builds throughout but is always an undertone.

Bottle courtesy of Greg at Birreria Paradiso - thanks Greg! Cloudy golden color with a medium white head that settles slowly to leave great lacing. Aroma of sour grapefruit and coriander. Moderate funk. Flavor is sour throughout, but with big malts also, and a hint of spice in the background. Great body and mouthfeel. Unique and very tasty.

Very nice hazy copper coloured body with an orange glow and a nice sized tan head that fades fast but leaves a good lace on the glass. Aroma of very fragrant belgian yeast, a great pungent sour geuze like smell, some hay, grass, light malt a touch of hops and more pungent sour and yeastie smells - VERY nice! Medium-bodied; Strong pungent yeast and deep malty flavours show well at first, then leave a touch of oak and toffee sweetness at the end and all finish with a very dry character. Aftertaste shows complexity and a long-lasting bitterness - decent, but not astounding. Overall, very surprising compared to the name you read on the label and what you taste - but it’s a rewarding comparison and is definitely good to try. The beer isn’t amazing, but it’s not a pale, shows a lot of good characteristics and some good profiles. I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased from Half-Time in Poughkeepsie, New York on 27-November-2009 sampled at home in Washington on 08-January-2010.

At the RB Pgh gathering 12/09. Thanks to Mr Chopin! Slight haze with a thin head. Clean fresh aroma. Some spice in the olfactory. Quite cutting on the carbonation and that is welcomed. Some fruit yet funky barnayard backgrounds lurkin in there. Some bitterness inthere but the fizziness is so attractive. Refreshing in its own sorttah way. Overall good tasting experience. Thanks Kev!

Bottle thanks to ditmier for sharing. Pours out a hazy yellow topped with a white head. Aroma was of wood, fruit, and brett. Taste was more of the same oak, brett, fruits, and sour. Sour I was not expecting this from this style. But it was very tasty.

Bottle. Poured a clear pale gold with a thick but light white head. Aroma is light and sweet, with grape and apple notes. Flavor starts with sweet fruit notes, but transitions to a surprisingly tart finish.
