About
The history of the brewery goes back to 1919 with the merger of four breweries in Douai the Grande Brasserie des Enfants de Gayant is created. In 1994 the Goudale brand is launched. In 2000 the purchase of the Brasserie Jeanne D’Arc at Ronchin takes place, it is later renamed as Brasserie Grain d’Orge.

In 2010 the brewery is acquired by André Pecqueur the owner of the Brasserie de Saint-Omer and the Brasseurs de Gayant and the Brasserie Grain d’Orge merge. In 2016 the Brasseurs de Gayant move to Arques to a brand new modern factory, at the forefront of technology. It’s the birth of the Goudale brewery.

Im Glas präsentiert sich ein fast klares orange-bernsteinfarbenes Bier ohne sichtbarer Perlage. Der weiße, feinporige Schaum hält dabei sehr gut. Der Geruch weiß zu betören... In erster Linie vernimmt man eine dichte, brotig-malzige Basis mit gutem Hefeanklang, der die ganze Sache süßlich-floral erscheinen lässt. Dabei lässt sich eine zarte Note von überreifer Banane mit einem Touch Alkohol wahrnehmen. Der Antrunk kommt sanftspritzig, haptisch weich bis cremig und ist dabei malzig süß. Süß und vollmundig geht es weiter... In der Süße lassen sich schöne Noten von reifem Steinobst, aber auch Honig und Keksen erschmecken. Das unglaublich tolle und harmonische Gesamtbild beeindruckt schon sehr. Vor allem bleiben Mundgefühl und Süffigkeit trotz der 7,2 % Alkohol unfassbar gut. Im langlebigen Nachtrunk wirkt die Honignote hervorragend nach und auch der cremige Charakter geht nicht verloren. Sehr spät kommt eine sehr zarte trockene Note ins Spiel. Mein Fazit: Ein richtiges Leckerli, ein echtes Dessertbier! Mir würden sofort tolle Kombinationen mit kräftigem Käse, Käsespätzle, aber auch Crème Brûlée in den Sinn kommen.

Nawet im to wyszlo, biala butelka i biala spora piana, srednio trwala, klarowne o bursztynowej barwie, tripel jakis inny, inny niz w Belgijskim tradycyjnym stylu. Nuty korzenne, posmak miodu rzepakowego, tak to piwo ma raczej slodki i slodkawy smak i posmak, chmielu nie za wiele, ale jakas fajna przyprawowosc jest, ogolnie do lososia pasowalo.
