Crisp, very clear golden and peach coloured body with a rather large pure white head that leaves an ugly lace around the sides, but starts off at about two centimetres in height. Aroma of very funky and super medicinal notes, with bitterness front and centre with only a touch of fruit notes from the raspberries and lemons - quite strong and showing some herbs as well. Light-bodied; Ultra medicinal, grassy, herbal, funky, spicey and especially astringent flavours dominate that make this more of a chore than enjoyment. Aftertaste shows way more bitterness, ranging from simple hops gone awry to assertive effervescence coupled with horrible bitterness, funk and grassy flavours that leaves the palate so bitter it doesn't really want to have another sip. Overall, a pretty poor beer overall with only some decent malts to support this which make it acceptable at best with the bitterness extending from hops to malt and of course to the dryness throughout with the yeasts strong and enjoyable. I sampled this sixeen ounce, pint-sized can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-September-2018 for US$2,19 sampled at my house here in Washington on 19-November-2018.
