Loads happening in this 4oz sample. It looks like opaque rootbeer. No head. Chocolate comes right out, nice nutty coffee, big fig and date. Flavor has malt and cocoa and dates and molasses, coffee is still there, chewy. Medium full, sticky, booze arrives. Nice treatment.

Rich on fruit like a Tom Jones banquet, centuries before Miller got straight to the point. Mango, papaya, a little lemon. Pours murky yellow without much head but decent lacing. Light hop tang finish, some sweetness. Tap at brewery.

Mostly pine here. Pours golden without much head. Medium bitter finish. Some passionfruit on the nose as well. Hops is decent, but the body doesn't have quite the West Coast presence I love. Tap at brewery.

Or to live on social media is to war with trolls. Light lime, lemon zest. Pours clear golden without much head. Light bitter end. Not super potent--I preferred the Soften the World. Tap at brewery.

Really a nice doppelbock. Haven't had one from this style I enjoyed this much in a hot sec. Roast and coffee up front. A very light touch of caramel, but this is on the dryer side for this style. Finish is decently bitter. Nice. Tap at brewery.

Founders mug at the brewery pours a murky rootbeer brown with some creamy off white head. Nose has malt, marzipan, dates, even some cocoa, light booze. Flavor is malt, dried cherry, dates, some butterscotch, a little tobacco. Medium full bodied, off dry, grippy.
