Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 18/10/24. Reddish golden pour with a crimson cap that soon thins. Nose is tarte cherries, funk, hay bale, pissy citric nip, damp oak, barnyard. Taste comprises sharp cherries, rising balanced acidity, green apple, funk, herb, lemon rind, damp oak. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced acidic rise. Solid kit.

Bottle at Shig-o's neighbor's place. Mellow, sort of hazy red plum pour with a decent enough head. Tight acidic cherry nose, astringent skin, punchy, not enough complexity. Heavy-earthy cherry, dense berry, no residual sugar, lemon. Lacked any curious funk, a little straight forward & fresh. Medium wood pith astringency, crazy sharp & tart, lingering numbness. Cleansing. I think this killed the rest of my stamina. Good stuff.

Clear, crispy, extra active, dark gold, frothy pour at the source. Herbal, pizza crust, very slightly meaty & accompanying smoke. Soft pretzel sweetness, sausage on the side. Mild buttered toast, middling-low wood astringency, citrus pith towards the back, a wink of honey, bitter toast on the finish. Constant carb, thin, crispy, mellow wood astringency. Cheerios & smoke. Good+.

Clear, crisp, bubbly, Miller Draft pour. Dough, peppery, stuffy, heavy wood pith/popsicle stick, slight sharpness on the nose. Husky malt, hairy feel, itchy, lots of fiber. Herbal hop profile, well water, Aspirin, a bit too veggy. Slightly boozy, long-winded woody astringency, hop water finish. Not my bag.

Clear, grape-plum half pour at the source. Slightly active & scummy. Herbal, cherry-grape juice box, sweet, medicinal nose. Rosemary & grape dominant, turning cranberry. Bright fruit. Medium-low acidity, slight to middling tartness. Fruit punch fruity finish. More fresh fruit than actual sweetness. Citrus pith bitterness. Light oak astringency. Slightly boozy. Thin. Soft, consistent bubbles. Tried to do too much. Okay.

Clear, active, classy Miller Gold 8oz pour at the source. Fermenting, slightly cheesy fruit nose, like funky papaya meets something lost in the refrigerator. Twangy. Tea tannins, kiwi, major astringency, big acid, lemongrass funk, very herbal middle, lingering fresh pith bite. Borderline loved this. Great.

Bottle thanks to MicroGrog: Poured a maroon color with a white ring head. Aroma is cherries, funky, oak. Taste is super tart, cherry, lingers around the palate.

On tap @Cellarest. Pretty, clear, bright honey gold with a dense uneven head. Soft floral, obvious foudre, dried fruit, faint musty funk. Faint resin, floral sharpness, lemon honey, white tea & woody tannins, mild acidity, sulfited dried pineapple, gentle but enough carb. Great.

Hazy, dirty dark brown, stirred pour. Semi-sweet chocolate nose, cinnamon heat. Taste is smooth bittersweet chocolate, dusty wheat, cinnamon & chili heat coinciding. Too sweet but the chilies saved it. Full, textured, creamy, medium low carb, boozy enough. Okay to good.
