Can pour purchased from the brewery 3/22. It's an opaque, inky black with light sparkle, some floaties, light viscosity, thin cap of light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet malts (maybe a touch of maple) and coffee. Taste is strong, decadent, sweet malt, chocolate, and late maple. Mouthfeel is full bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation, late mild alcohol heat, and finish as taste. Overall, this is a thick, sweet dessert sipper to be sure! Doesn't get too sweet (IMHO) and coffee and maple are restrained overall.

Can pour at Power Beer Fest, 5/14/22. Light haziness, blonde-golden-maize. White head is medium-sized. Peachy wine with sweet, fruity esters and honey-like malts. Pineapple, mango, papaya. Gotta be some butter in there too. Punch, bitter, sweet. Peach, papaya, mango, pine, heavy malt, maybe some diacetyl. What isn't in this beer? Just way too much going on here. Too much malt without enough attenuation, too much hop addition at the wrong time. Light alcohol, as well.

16 oz. can received in a trade with tfontana. Dude! Great grab! Kind of a murky, dirty brown color. Not nice to look at but at least it’s good. Aroma is apples and cherries with soft spice. The flavor is spot on spiced apple cider. Long lingering apples, toffee and soft cinnamon in the finish. Mild tartness. Ridiculously easy to drink. This is a fun brew!

Draft at City Tap. Dark black brew and smallish beige head. Thick maple and coffee on nose. Tastes of lots of maple syrup but not cloying, bitter coffee grind, chocolate, earth, figs. Chewy palate. Some booze warming.

Opening Bash: pours black with beige head. Aroma is sweet maple, coffee and chocolate. Taste is sweet, loads of maple. Lighter than most hefty boys of course.

Draft at City Tap, 11/1/21. Fully hazy/turbid. No head. Drab orange juice. Pine and lemon. Yeasty. Is this Belgian? Infected? Seems quite Belgian in the mouth. Very phenolic with clove, bubble gum and cinnamon? Hops are...woody, piney. If these are local crystal hops that makes sense, I guess. I do get the black tea from the chaos. Soft and supple texture. Malty but not too much so. A very weird one....like a Belgian NEDIPA.

Can shared with Chris: pours pinkish red with pink head. Raspberry aroma. Taste is lightly sour, low sweetness, mellow raspberry. Solid.
