Can pour from The Beer Store, Salem. It's a deeply hazy dark yellow with a lot of dark floaties in suspension, finger-width off-white foamy head with excellent retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong musty grape, vegetal, milder citrus and trace pineapple. Taste is dank, musty grape with late background citrus. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, no bitterness but a disappointing pairing of these hops--where's the Citra?! A rare miss for the brewer.

16 oz can. Aroma has bold, grapefruit, tangerine, and perhaps pineapple. Flavor is bright with the tropical fruit and citrus and has a very mild citrus peel bitterness in the finish. Texture shows a ton of juice. Pretty much what I was expecting from this offering.

Undated can drunk 5/4/23. Moderately hazy, brass-blonde-maize. Small, white head. Holy bubblegum, batman! is there anything other than fruity, bubblegummy yeast here?? I guess some juicy, citrusy citra, and thankfully not oniony mosaic. As usual with Modestman, it's clean, super malty, and in this case, not too much so, with lightly spicy mosaic, plentiful mango and orange juice from the citra and i guess enough bitterness, light pine and such, from the simcoe. It works out and is malty, rich, deep and flavorful. Yeah, this is shockingly delicious, despite the bubblegummy nose, with no sign of that and just a great balance of heavy tropical fruit and moderate bitterness.

Pours murky gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention pancakes and recedes leaving scant sheets. Mango and melon aromas. Medium bodied with sweet melon, mango and lychee upfront turning to mild pine and tangerine peel/pith in the medium length finish.

16 oz. can. Aroma has grapefruit, yeast, table sugar. Flavor is a reflection of the aroma with a mild herbal grassy hint. Bitterness is near astringent. Well-made, but the name maybe overreaching quite a bit.

Can pour from The Beer and Wine Store, Salem. It's an opaque, milky yellow with no sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with excellent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is very strong cooking herb, vegetal, grape over milder citrus. Taste is strong cooking herb dominant, over grape, hint of citrus, and biscuit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, the Galaxy and Nelson meld well with just a hint of Citra. Nice.
