Brewery draught, 7/7/24. Dark, clear, small head. Big bourbon notes dominate. Not well-integrated; like a watery porter that some dumped some jim beam shots in. Very thin for its size. Bourbon is the only real flavor.

14 oz. plastic cup. Aroma is white bread and weak dusty yeast. The flavor is more reminiscent of a blonde ale. Does it taste like a Pilsner at all. Body is pretty thin. Not awful. Just not a lot of flavor.

Brewery draught, 7/7/24. Lightly hazy, lemon-brass-golden. Small, flimsy, white head. Earthy, musty, not quite dirty nose. No real hop. Crackery malts, doesn't smell like much a lager. Musty, earthy, almost sourish, milky character. Little/no hop. Not horribly thin at least. Very carbonated. Lingering fruit and very light grass.

Reviewed from notes. Thanks Doug for nabbing a growler before they split with Pizzapalooza, guess I need to relay that information to ratebeer, but if an editor reads this feel free to edit this as a microbrewery. Pizzapalooza no longer exists.
Anyways, onward with the beer.
Poured into a nonic.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Messy lacing slides.
The smell had some citrus and grassy hops up front. Faint caramel backbone.
The flavor was basically the same as the smell with a smooth quaint citrus to caramel aftertaste. Brisk malty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it Carbonation rides low enough to allow the malts make things smooth to the touch on my tongue.
Overall, it’s a good American IPA, perhaps a bit old school but it gets the job done.
