500 ml bottle from AE, 12/17/21. Note: This is the version from the Anniversary release, AE has released 3 versions of this beer as of today - 2 on the 1st Anniversary - October 2021 (Whiskey & Cabernet), as well as a 3rd version (Whiskey w/ Hazelnuts and Cacao) in December 2021. This seems to have confused a number of people, as they all have the same label with a slight change being a circular tag on the left side of the label differentiating the versions. As for the beer, darker brown in color, thin brown head. Roast, vanilla, caramel, and toffee. On the sweeter side of balanced.

16 oz can from AE, 12/7/21. Canned 11/22/21. Fully hazed orange with a thick, creamy, white head that coats the glass in lots of lace. Juicy, grapefruit, pineapple, mango. Orange juice too. Bitterness is mild, fairly sweet, but not cloyingly so. Drinks nicely.

Bottle from the brewery from the 1st Anniversary release, 11/24/21. Dark brown pour, thin tan head. Roast, wood, and booze. Vinos, somewhat earthy. Astringent notes. A touch disjointed at first, but it rounds out nicely as it warms. Good stuff. 7/4/8/4/15

Draft at AE, 11/6/21. Pale yellow, ring of white head. Herbal, grains, some hay. Not sure I would have recognized the pea without it being in the name, but knowing it's there it's very present. Tingly. Fairly clean. Pretty good. 7/4/7/4/15

16 oz can from the brewery, 10/31/21. Pours a dark reddish-purple color. The black currant flavor coming through over everything else. Fairly sweet. Solidly tart as well. Nice stuff.

12 oz can from AE, as part of the 1st Anniversary release, 10/29/21. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Bright, grassy and grainy. Has some lovely spice, dough, and lemon zest. Crisp, clean. Tingly, almost peppery close. Crushable and flavorful, what else could you need?

16 oz can from the brewery, 10/29/21. Happy 1st Anniversary Scott, Brendan, Steve, and the rest of the crew! Bright, hazy yellow, strong white head, plenty of lace. Lemon candy is spot on here. Bright citrus, candied lemon. Pine notes. Solid bitterness level. Really nice.
