Pours black into a snifter. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Dark chocolate-covered pit fruit and licorice aromas. Thick with sweet bubblegum, pit fruit and tangerine upfront turning to chalky, charred espresso and more bubblegum in the lasting finish.

Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of wheat, grass, floral. Taste has an interesting clementine note, devoid of the typical banana and nutmeg. Palate yields to the expected banana and nutmeg, lingering yeasty note that carries with it some fruitiness. Good.

Brewery draught, 3/1/24. Clear brass, hint of copper. White head quickly to ring. Sweet barley, hint of butter, very faint. Barley, yeast, honey. Sweet, malty good attenuation. A bit grainy, but cleanish and drinkable. Lingering floral hops, honey, grainy notes.

Brewery draught, 3/1/24. Greyish-brass. Cloudy. Small, white head to rocky cover. Earthy, metallic, yeasty, a bit dull. Over-boiled hops. Malts aren't in too bad of shape. But there's so much dirty yeast. In the mouth it's lightly dirty in the sense of their being so much yeast character. Muddled, bland, lightly bitter. Dry at least, not too thin or anything. Just gotta get that NEIPA style down...but the malts are we done so I'm not panning it horribly.

Can (5/16/22) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's a cloudy light brown-dark yellow with tons of sparkle, a few floaties, finger-width off-white head with fair retention and nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, grape, peach and apricot. Taste is grape, grapefruit, citrus and hint of stone fruits and vegetal with malt backbone. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and mostly malty, vegetal dry finish. Overall, decent complexity but it doesn't all harmoniously blend. OK.
