Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden and clear. White head. Nose - bit of a made funky and woody one this. Getting the pineapple and the candied lemon zest. Lanolin lurking. Taste - woody, funk and lemon zest. Dry, yeasty finish. Palate - light bodied, then funky though not tart. The finish is long and persistent despite the low ABV. Overall - a lovely individual beer, this one.

Keg at Salthorse, Edinburgh, 24/02/23. Clear golden blonde topped with an off white covering. Nose is lemon zest, grains, straw, lemon sherbet, sugary aspect. Taste comprises grass, meringue whip, lemon zest, light acidic spike. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a subdued puckering bite. It's okay but would like more acidity to cut through some of the sweetness.

Dark reddish brown beer, white head. Smells.of caramel, booze and fruit. Flavour follows suit. Berries, apple, caramel, malt, a boozy hit. Warming, and just enough alcohol to make you respect it but on the whole it's nicely balanced.
