330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest browncolour with absurdely huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, dark beige to tan head. Roasty, toasty, slightly chocolately and minimally nutty, dark malty and minimally caramel maalty aroma, hints of milk chocolate, cocoa, a touch of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, Brazil nut, whiffs of liquorice, minimally waxy, hoppy overtones. Taste is mildly bitter, roasty, dark malty, minimally sweet, caramel malty, minimally nutty, notes of dark chocolate, some cocoa, a touch of toasted nuts, some hop bitterness as well. Slightly creamy and oily texture, smooth, soft and silky, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Very nice composition, quite complex - good, but not as impressive as Underrated Steps. Almost a gusher, head needs quite some time to settle, actually fizzy carbonation should be shaken out for a better treat.

Aus der Flasche im 2024-08 getrunken. Das ist wieder so ein Bier wo ich mich Frage warum macht man so was? Nun es hätte ja eine tolle Gose mit schwarzer Farbe und spannenden Gewürz/Orangen-Aromen werden können. Doch am Ende wirkt alles sehr unstimmig und macht auch kein Spaß im Glas. Schade, aber ein Versuch war's wert.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, dark amber colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white to beige head. Toasty, slightly spicy and nutty, malty as well as grassy hoppy aroma, hints of chestnut, very weak, buttery overtones. Taste is slightly toasty and nutty malty with some residual sweetness, mildly bitter, slightly fruity and minimally grassy-spicy hoppy, hints of red berries, a touch chestnut, weak hints of toffee, praline, a minimally buttery touch as well. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, medium to fine, dense, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, well balanced, very harmonious and far from simple - really good!
