Keg at The Hive, Crowthorne, 04/03/23. Murky orange with an off white cap that thins to a swirl ... some lacing ensues. Nose is mango, pine resin, dank chimes, bitter orange, grapefruit. Taste comprises grapefruit, orange pith, dank bite, hop spice, raw pineapple, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spiked with resinous come dankened hop bitterness. Decent DIPA.

Keg draught at the Crow, Sheffield. Pinkish gild, clear with a smattering of white head. Light strawberry aroma, some vanilla wafer. Slightly sourish taste, but sweetned by yoghurt-covered strawberry notes. It's okay, but a little lightweight for my liking.

Can from House Of The Trembling Madness. Murky golden body with a thick off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of mango, papaya, overripe watermelon and caramel biscuit. Flavour of blood orange and dried mango. Full body with a chewy mouthfeel. Light fizz. A punchy, thick DIPA that goes down well for the strength.

500ml can from Craft Metropolis. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, fizzy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, big coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, roasted malt, liqourice, light chocolate, big dry spicy coffee palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can ordered from Hop, Black & Burns. Aroma has sharp berries with underlying sweetness. An attractive hazy orange tinged pale pink. Thin translucent white head. Medium-heavy sour. The redcurrant (as grown in my Grandparents' garden) provides bite but it nevertheless manages to be subtle. A pineapple juice sweetness appears into the finish. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Easy drinking and pleasant sour. Again not sure what the point of the IPA part really is, it may as well just be a fruited sour. Still hits the spot though.
