4 December 2024. At V and B Nanterre, Paris. Shared with the lovely Anke, and cheers to the Paul McCartney concert!
A: clear brown, thin, off-white head; some sediment.
A: burnt biscuit, raisin, almond, red apple, toast.
T: sweetish raisin & fig, biscuit, milk chocolate, toast.
F: herbal hops, dried fruits, nuts.
P: light to medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Enjoyable, straightforward dark Lager.

Clear orange beer, creamy irregular white head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: lots of tropical fruits, juicy, some citrus, mango, a bit smoky, malty, oxidized, ok. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, fruity, mango, a bit yeasty, very bitter, lots and lots of orange peel, a bit sugary, oxidized, some tropical fruits. Aftertaste: bitter, orange peel, resinous hops, soapy touch, a bit oxidized, some tropical fruits, meh, ok but not really good. Not sure if it was stored badly, or just brewed badly.

Cloudy pale brown colour lasting head. Aroma and flavour of toasted malt. Perhaps soft vanilla note too. Nice malt forward beer.. perhaps too sweet.

Can 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Hazy murky pale golden colour, fair frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma pale malt, citrus, light mango, grain, herbal and resinous hops. Taste light sweet and bitter, malty, citrus, some mango, herbal notes. Light body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, mild sweetbitter aftertaste, lightweight but enjoyable, okay.

Can 33cl. from Quaffe @home poured into an alt glass. Murky pale to medium amber colour, good rocky off-white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma toasted malt, caramel, cereals, earthy hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grain, caramel, candy sugar. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, not a real alt nevertheless nice.
