0.33 l bottle from 'SpeciaalBierPakket.nl', best before October 2026. A little hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, quite smoky and minimally fruity aroma of caramel, smoked ham, charcoal, toasted nuts and hints of raisins. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather smoky and a bit fruity taste of caramel, honey, toasted nuts, smoked ham, charcoal and light raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little ashy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good one, quite smoky and meaty.

Bottle from systemet. Clear dark Brown, offwhite tan low. Light ovomaltine nose, medium mellow dry chewy, cocoa, light licorice, broad chocolate, good hoo counterpoint, very drinkable.
