On tap at Fargo Brewing, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roast and a touch of earthy coffee. Flavour is rather hot, with medium roast, booze, and some oak. Rather abrasive and hot - it's pleasant but in need of serious refinement.

On tap at Fargo Brewing, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out some dark fruits, bready toffee and a maybe a bit of wood. Flavour is along the same lines, with dark fruits and bready toffee. Nicely malty, with more body than a typical dunkel. Best North Dakotan dunkel I've had.
