12 oz can. (Was pushed in the back of my fridge awhile). Light caramel, burnt toast, and brown sugar. Has a metallic note. This sat in my fridge awhile. Thin body, watery character. Possible better before now. Maybe the metallic hint would not be present.

Undated can drunk 7/10/18.
Clear, auburn-chestnut with a beige head that fades steadily to a ring.
Very nice red fruit with peat and light toffee behind it. Sweet caramel, fig and plum all join in to create quite a rewarding, complex aroma. No heavy bread or any other overdone specialty malt notes that you often get in this style. Very aromatic for its size with no flaw or alcohol.
Dry and spicy with light bread and tons of enjoyable red fruit-like character from yeast and malt. Engaging carbonation and a soft, malty texture. Could have a touch more depth, I suppose, but hard to complain given the balance and great attenuation. Caramel and berry lingering. Could easily drink a liter of this (or so). Very refreshing, flavorful and clean.

Can. A- Grapefruit, orange pith, slightly soapy. A- Orange color, clear liquid, white head. T- Floral, bitter, pine, grapefruit, citrus rind, mild caramel. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Much more complex than I expected. Lots of grapefruit bitterness here. Some caramel bread as it warms. They had a mango version that was almost double the price. Not sure why the mango version is so much more. Solid pale ale. Almost tastes like a Toppling Goliath brew.

Pours a thick, oily black, with minimal head. Aromas of roasted grain, coffee, chocolate. Flavor includes coffee, chocolate, anise, and roasted grain. Alcohol content is well-hidden--no hot booziness to this one. Very smooth finish. Good imperial stout.
