Pours light hazy medium orange/amber/light copper color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, apricot, guava, papaya, strawberry, citrus peel, oak, pepper, pine, hay, straw, grass, caramel, and toasted bread; with light vanilla, leathery funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, citrus/pine hops, oak barrel, and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, apricot, guava, papaya, strawberry, citrus peel, oak, pepper, pine, hay, straw, grass, caramel, and toasted bread; with light vanilla, leathery funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Moderate fruity/lactic tartness, pine/citrus peel bitterness, and yeast/tannic oak spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, apricot, guava, papaya, berries, citrus peel, oak, pepper, pine, hay, straw, caramel, toasted bread, vanilla, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, citrus/pine hops, oak barrel, and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/bitter/spiciness balance; zero puckering or astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from tart/bitter/spiciness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, acidic/tannic/sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is an outstanding sour IPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, citrus/pine hops, oak barrel, and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the balanced bitter/tart/tannic flavors. Pretty much perfectly balanced between IPA and Sour/wild flavors; with nice oak presence and balancing malt character. A highly enjoyable offering.

Pours slightly hazy/cloudy orange/amber/light copper color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big melon, pear, apricot, apple, white grape, light banana/clove/pepper, honey, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, light funk, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big melon, pear, apricot, apple, white grape, light banana/clove/pepper, honey, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, light funk, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and yeast spice/tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of melon, pear, apricot, apple, white grape, honey, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, light funk, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Minimal dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly silky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is a great Biere de Garde. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and pretty refreshing to drink. Awesome yeast/malt balance; and not overly sweet or heavy feeling. A really enjoyable offering.

Bottle thanks to my mom! Pours a deep amber red with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has some grains and vanilla with a decent amount sour red fruits and a strong oak note. Flavor has more sour red fruits with oak and vanilla notes supporting.

Aromas of big tart cherry, berries, raisin, plum, lemon, green apple, fruit skins, hay, straw, pepper, oak, funk, and toasted brown bread; with lighter notes of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, nuttiness, leather, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, oak, and moderate roast/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart cherry, berries, raisin, plum, lemon, green apple, fruit skins, hay, straw, pepper, oak, funk, and toasted brown bread; with lighter notes of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, nuttiness, leather, vanilla, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Overall this is a very nice dark sour ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, oak, and moderate roast/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the balanced acidity/tannins. Nice malt presence without being to sweet; with impressive yeast complexity. A very unique and enjoyable offering.

Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately acidic/creamy/grainy, and lightly tannic/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.7%. Overall this is a great fruited sour ale! 16 ounce can. Pours a cherry cola brown color with a small beige head that disapates quickly. Sweet toasted malt nose with a hint of cherry. Flavor follows the nose. Sweet dark malt and cherry dominate. Sticky mouthfeel. Subtle spicy hops in finish. A bit too sweet for my liking.
