Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - red wine like really. Nose - honey, almond, cherry stone and black cherry. Taste - luscious black cherry and almond. Honey underlay. Palate - sweet and rich. Not sure how the body compares to other mead. Overall - lovely.

Bottle, via the online shop. Clear ruby red. Nose has everything present and correct. Ripe blackberry. Autumn raspberry, and vanilla stone cherry. Floral honey in the background. Taste is sweet and honeyed, with a bright, berry tartness. Clean and juicy on the palate. Super easy drinking. Lingering juicy fruit on the finish. Lovely gear.

Bottle, shared round Dan and Megan’s gaff. Connor, the producer sent me this, so cheers pal! Deep raspberry pink. Faint haze. No head. Nose is steeped in ripe raspberry. Jam. Jelly. Fruit Gums. The lot. Some vanilla notes, and a light herbal character. Sticky and sweet taste and on the palate. Not at all cloying though, and drinks frighteningly easy at the ABV. More raspberry and herbal notes on the finish. Glad I shared this or I’d have walloped the lot in no time.

Bottle, from the producer. Cheers Connor. Very light haze on a very pale straw colour. Nose has elderflower. Touch of lavender. Hit of tangy nelson. Taste is super sweet, with a lemony, hoppy twang. Super smooth on the palate. Drinks like a clean and fresh dessert wine, which I suppose is the MO with these? I dunno. Just really enjoying the ones I tried so far.

Bottle, courtesy of the producer. Cheers Connor! Deep, dusky pink. No head. Nose has floral honey. Pulped dark cherry. Lots of vanilla cherry stone. Taste sets off sweet and pulpy, with a soft fruit bitterness. Gets surprisingly dry and a little tart. Super smooth and easy drinking. Very fine carbonation. Loads of cherry on the finish. No idea if this is a good example of the style, but regardless, this was hugely enjoyable.
