Cans sent by the brewer for comment. Of course it pours like a regular beer: straw colored, slightly body, fizzy head that's gone quickly. Smell has some citrus note, and for some reason, again, I get an impression of lipstick as with most light NA beers. So should I rate this as a standard NA beer aroma? Taste is a pretty decent malt soda. I get the metallic tang of some light beers. Now a little citrus rather than the banana notes they claim. Rated against other barley sodas, it's pretty decent.

Can. Pours clear golden, medium white head, decent residual and lacing. Aroma is a bit worty, light citrus, grapefruit, grain. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Light body. Not a bad product, but why is it so hard to get rid of the wort flavor in N/A beers?

Can from HI-Time. Pours translucent orange tinged gold with a decent foamy white head. Aroma is citrus - seems orange. Malt is a bit toffee. Med body. Flavor starts very much orange citrus, but quickly becomes something like spelt. Fairly dry. Fairly bitter. Good when driving back and forth to the lake!

12 ounce can thanks to hershiser2! 1/15/21. Such high praise from hersh this better be good. Clear dakr brown, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, oats, black olive juice. Taste is roast, soy, oats. Medium bodied, overly sweet. And again that black olive thing. Weird.

Can from Hi-Time. Pours dark brn/blk with a large creamish tan head. Oatmeal cookie aroma mixed with burnt malt and chocolate. Med body. Fairly dry. Flavor is burnt malt, chocolate and oatmeal dough/cookie. Not all that hoppy, but the burnt malt is providing a lot of bitter. Good drink.

Can from Hi-Time. Pours clear bright copper with a beige head. Aroma is combo of toast and shredded wheat. Not quite med body. Flavor is shredded wheat, whole wheat toast and a very slight hint of hop. Dryer than many amber. Decently bitter. Best of all it does not have the icky chocolate aspect of so many ambers. Pool beer for sure.
