Draught @ Fete des Bieres de Collab, Clairmarais. Hazed gold, white head. Fruity citrus orange nose. Good crisp bright clementine juice against a soft tangy sour backdrop. Nicely done.

330ml bottle from Hoppy Craft, St Omer. Pours a deep dark colour, good tan head. Encouraging aroma full of dark malts, chocolate, pine. Flavour profile is wonderfully harmonious, good rich layered dark malt with a perfect complimentary hop presence, some light pine, citrus perhaps, nice bitterness. Presented really well, great flavoursome character.

Bière 75 cl achetée sur une foire aux artisans locaux. Notes de malt rôti doux, pain grillé, plutôt simple et accessible.

330ml bottle from Hoppy Craft Bar, Saint Omer. Shared @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 22. Pleasant BIPA, mild toast, coal, distant pine, light carb. Not bad.

Bière 75 cl achetée sur un salon des créateurs locaux à Lambersart. Robe dorée, nez agréable sur des céréales, bouche plutôt classique mais étant enrhumée, je ne suis pas sûre que j'ai pu avoir tous les arômes. Je retenterai!

31st October 2022; Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie, only four of us! Cheers Mat for the 33cl bottle of this malty black IPA. Black bodied, cream coloured head, malty front with a mild chocolate flavour.

Bière bouteille 75 cl achetée au brasseur sur un marché de produits artisanaux. Robe dorée. Bouche avec une amertume prononcée. Je n'ai pas reconnu de spécificité du houblon comet, ni d'originalité particulière, mais elle était agréable à boire.

Bière 75 cl ramenée par un ami à mon anniversaire. Robe trouble, nez sur les agrumes, bonne carbonatation, elle a du corps et est très équilibrée, hyper parfumée, l'amertume est bien présente, c'est vraiment une très bonne DIPA, aussi attirante au nez que délicieuse en bouche. (M)
