Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee. sweet coffee, oat, moderate chocolate. Flavour is heavy sweet and light heavy bitter with a long duration, sweet coffee, sugary, chocolate, dark roasted, malt bitter, cherry notes ! 330ml bottle from Beerhive. Pours hazy amber, nice long-lasting white head, nice lacing. Light pale fruit aromas, pineapple maybe. Taste has light citrus bitterness, light sweet malt. Juicy. Finish is a bit thin, but not bad.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, sweet fruit, hops, moderate yeasty, fruity. (bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, murky amber colour with a short and slightly tanned foamy layer. Fruity, zesty and slightly piney hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit, pineapples, backed by a mildly cara-malty and slightly ethereally spicy and yeasty background. Rounded bitter-sweet flavour, almost full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Caramelly malt character with present fruity, resiny and spice hops, again ethereally accents; sweet-bitter, resiny and slightly fruity hoppy finish with notes of caramel, traces of candy and an almost hidden but warming alcoholic strength. 15.VII.14

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Male Ales or something. Pours lightly hazy red-amber with a big, creamy off-white head. The nose holds crackery malts, old pine and a bit of toasted caramel. Light-medium sweet flavor with more toasty crackers and caramel, some berries, grape, ripe orange, faint metallic bite, some earth. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Semi-dry to finish with further toasted crackers, dry earth, dry bread, some leaves and vaguely oily pine, citrus essence. Not a stunner by any means but it’s drinkable.

Tap @ Kimchi Farm Festival 2014. Dark color, not quite black. Beige head, short retention. Aroma’s: chocolate, mocha, somewhat roasted malts. Additionally some red fruit retronasal. Flavor is moderate to full sweet with lots of chocolate. Medium bodied. Chocolatey finish. A bit too sweet.

On tap at Kimchi. Murky amber colour, thin white head. Aroma of lots of oak, vanilla, light whisky, hops, wood, resin, light spicy. Flavour is medium sweet, vanilla, oak, resin, light tartness, hops, like a BA IPA. Light to medium-bodied. Nice.

dark amber colour, huge, long lasting beige-ish head; aroma of tropical fruits, some citruses, pine resin, caramel, some floral notes and alcohol; taste of malty-caramel sweetness, fruity notes, bitterness in the background and spicy alcohol, which lasts quite long; really strange beer

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker. Golden colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit (pineapple and passion fruit). Fruity but also dry and bitter. Hoppy finish. Well balanced. Very good American Pale Ale.

Keg at GBBF. 2014. Opaque clack coloured pour with a lasting sticky medium tan head. Aroma is pone needles, soap, hint of earthy roast, choc. Flavour is spicy toasted rye bread, pine needle hop. Lingering mix of soft roast and piney hop. Palate is medium bodied and highish carbonation. Good bipa.
