Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. Clear, reddy, amber. Long lasting, dense, clotted cream coloured head. Toffee. Grapefruit. Strawberry. All smells very jammy and toasty. Very inviting. Taste is more of that. Restrained amount of bitterness. Sweetness happens on the finish. Liked it, but a bit too sweet for me, at the end.

Opaque black - brown beer, good.pale tan head. Palate is smooth and softish but with good minerally carbonation. Smooth dark malts, quite mild, no roast or bitterness. Rich dark malt cream. Mellow piney hops with light orangey hop underneath. Finishes smooth. Mild bitter linger.

On tap at Brew by Numbers, Bermondsey, Saturday 26th April 2014 Pours very dark brown, in fact probably black with a tan head. Wonderfully rich, lots of indulgent chocolate, some turkish delight dipped in bitter dark chocolate, quite thick in mouth, warming, lots of cocoa. The nose is unsurprisingly chocolate but also with a little spirit, a touch of baileys actually? Love this. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov17 4.1

Bottled from Biernavigatie, dated 09-01-2014, large sample. Slight hazy golden color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of spicy yeast together with citrussy coriander gale-like notes. Bit dry in taste, medium bitterness. Spicyness from the yeast comes through in flavor as well. Earthy hops, quite clean bitterness. Finishes quite dry. Yeast is very present with its esters.

Delicious aroma of fruity hops. Mildly sharp taste of citra and amarillo. Soft thin body of sweetish malt. Nice.
