Description
Founded in 1900, Cervezas Ambar is an independent Spanish brewery that maintains the spirit of a constantly evolving family enterprise. With 18 beer varieties, it has more specialities than any other brand. It continues to produce beer at the same brewery where it began operations in the early part of the last century, located in the historic San José neighbourhood. There they maintain the craft processes of the 20th century, with their own malting facility and the only open vat fermentation room still in use anywhere in Spain.

Buying this beer from one carrefour, Granada, Zaidin. Sharing this can yesterday with Geraldo, las Letanias, Sevilla. So hot and correct beer, brewed on the German on the way of a keller, smooth, yeasty, a bit fruity, malty, normal bitterness.

Drinking this beer at D Paso, Torreblanca, Fuengirola, two days ago, before to go to Malaga. Right and classical radler, all the things that you could expect for the style, medium body, malty, lemony, dry & sweet, medium bitterness, in hurry due to the train.

Buying this beer at one supermarket, Fuengirola. Tasting this beer yesterday, at our rented home. Not bad, not great, a light/medium lager, really smooth and malty, a bit fruity, light bitterness, pleasant with this hot and sunny weather.

My experience with this beer was not good. The taste is really metalic, few malt, few hop, unpleasant at the palate, good for the garden, 14.10.2017, buying it at the Alcampo, Sevilla, drinking it, in our rented house, Sevilla, Cerro del Aguila.

Old rating from 20-12-15 - 330ml bottle, brought back from a supermarket on holiday in Fuerventura. Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Aromas are sweet & malty. Tastes of corn, grass, bread & sweet malt. Aftertaste is dry with light bitterness. Overall a decent enough massed produced beer, one I'd have again if I was in Spain.
