330 ml bottle, from Super Cor, La Manga. ABV is 5.2%. Gluten free version of the ordinary Ambar Especial, suitable for people with coeliac disease. Label very similar to the ordinary version, you really have to look out for the words "Apta para celiacos", if this is the version you need. Deep golden colour, low white head. Fairly nice aroma of malts, herbs and cloves. Soft mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Malty flavour, a hint of caramel, not very sweet. Tolerable hops in the finish. Astonishingly good (well, my expectations were low), possibly the best coeliac-friendly beer I’ve had.

Bottle from Carrefour, Burgos. Clear golden colour, white head. Nose is soft malty, bit of hay. Flavour is malty, bit of caramel, hay. Fairly bitter, slightly sweet.

Bottle 250ml.Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, toasted, vegetables. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20110819]

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, white head. Pale malts, yellow apples, a flowery and grassy touch and a generic fruityness. Medium to thin on the palate, quite dry, with some bitterness towards the end. Pale malts and grass too. A rather boring one, but at least not really bad. 110819
