330ml can from Carrefour Express in Madrid, Spain. Pours a crystal clear deep gold color with an off-white head and great retention. Very good lacing too. Pretty pour. Standard pale malt aroma. It tastes like a mix of pale lager and malt liquor, with a lightly boozy finish. Not a lot of flavor, yet no off notes either. The 6.8% ABV is somewhat hidden. Grainy texture. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Not bitter. Not great, but not bad for a store brand at a great price.

lattina 50 cl, schiuma bianca fine media persistenza, colore giallo pallido limpido, al naso malto cereali note citriche e mattalliche, in bocca malto pale leggero miele note citriche, corpo leggero, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro leggero. citrussy aroma like if it was infected. sour malts. bottle 09/09/2026 , tasted 28/12/2025 kept cold since i returned from malaga dec. 11.
flavor is more sort of fruity than decidedly sour. tastes like a fruit infused ale, quite hard/crisp water treatment, the fruitiness might resemble a belgian quad, but there is no yeasty notes whatsoever, so that's unusual. After being confused by the aroma and the flavor, i have settled to a place where i find the flavor okay to good, but highly unusual.

pours clear brown, settles very dark brown with a fine light brown head.
aroma of licorice and roasted malts and a whiff of smoked malts. aroma is surprisingly clean and straight. very stoutish.
flavor is roasted malts, a little bit of charred wood and smoked malts, natural licorice or english licorice.
the licorice and the smoked malts add a lot of flavor and character to the fairly low abv porter or stout like beer. while the two are very invloved in the overall flavor, it comes off as clean and balanced nevertheless. quite impressive for a discount supermarket beer.

Aroma: sweet impression, smells like cola, caramel, oxidized, dried fruits, some leather, a little bready. MF: soft carbon, light body. Taste: super sweet, lots of caramel, cola flavours, soft acidity, pretty watery, more caramel, very sweet. Aftertaste: just more of the same, tastes a lot like cola.
