Bottle, 75cl. It's a faintly hazy one, with a good carbonation but no head. Deep golden in color. The aroma feels a bit edgy, with alcohol, ripe apples, sour fruit, grass and a faint hint of sulphur. It's full-bodied and quite effervescent, mostly on the dry, acidic side, with some sweetness and a light alcohol warmth. Acidic apple flavor with ripe, sweet apples, grass, tannins, a hint of peach and pine cones and unfortunately a faint sulphur hint. Long warming, sweet and acidic finish with apple flavors in the driver's seat. A tad rough around the edges this one I think, else not bad at all. Perhaps some cellaring would help a bit. 210708

Can. A dark golden colored cider with some white bubbles on top. The aroma has lots of raspberry, suspect that's caused by the rhubarb. Apple in the back, in a quite pleasant way. It's quite sweet on the palate, with some carbonation. Medium bodied. Strawberry, sourness, apple and a fruity sweetness. Long sweet finish with strawberry and apple. Too sweet this one, and pushing the apples too far in the back. 210613

Bottle. Almost clear golden body under a small, fast disappearing white head. Aroma has ripe apple and some cellar notes. Taste has sweet apple, mild wood, acidity and well hidden alcohol. Fine body and tart, acidic finish.

Bottle, 75cl. A lightly orangey candy-red cider with a wee carbonation and head. The aroma is a well blended mix of apple and strawberry, with a distinct sweetish touch. Not much rhubarb detected, if any. It's medium to full-bodied, semi-sweet and softly carbonated. Some rhubarb sourness chiming in. In the flavor the strawberry is more evident than the apples. Some hints of grass and lemon in the far back. Rather dry toward the finish. A pleasant and tasteful drink, but I sure prefer my ciders without any other fruit. 200709

Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, apple cores, alcohol, grass, minerals, apple peel, dried apples, sour apples, fruit stones, caramel, hints of citrus. Slightly boozy and dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Nice, but I like the lower ABV version better.
