Aroma has resiny hops, some hayish malt and mild licorice tones. Feels sweetish. Flavour has tickling hops, nettles, minerals, licorice and some grapefruit. This has nice hops but quite nothing else. I like the licorice notes too, though.

Mild aroma with licorice and syrup. Flavour has sweet syrupy tones, some hops with gooseberry bush and licorice. Sticky and sweet all the way, drinkability is not that great. Not very BIPA-like, reminds me of some east European porters.

Tap@ St Urho’s Sahtipäivät 2015. Deep amber, no head. Somewhat hoppy aroma, earthy, juniper. Flavor has caramel, hops, oranges, banana. Not working for me.

33cl bottle, C-market Tammisto. Cloudy amber colored, thick white head. Smoky, ashy aroma, fruity malty. Unclean feel to it. Flavor has dry fruits, malt, grass. Draught@HBF2015. Black colour, brown head. Aroma is sweet and lactic along with liquorice, wood and some slight leathery notes. Flavour is lactic, liquorice, wood and some floral notes. Strange brew.

(Keg at William K. Kurvi, 20150426) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citicness and hint of sourness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, cowhouse, fruitiness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, tart and bitter. Either my sensenses are completely messed up or something has gone wrong while brewing this beer. Not really bad but not an APA etiher.

Draught @ Mallaskosken Pienpanimoiden Oluttapahtuma. Aroma has peaches, fruity hops and fruit candy. Flavour has soapy citrus, minerals, some tropical fruits and peaches. Finishes with grassy hops and minerals. Aroma was promising but flavour is too soapy.
