(Keg at HBF2015) The beer poured black. Its head was small and white. Aroma had burnt malts, spices, whisky and more spices. Palate was rather full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, cocoa, liquorice and bitterness. Afteraste was sweet and bitter. A nice stout. An interesting spiciness.

Draught @ HBF 2015
Pours pitch black with a small head. Aroma of roasty malts, wood, stingy gin notes, oak and herbal notes. Taste is smooth, boozy and herbal with some stingy gin notes, roastiness and oak. Finish is a bit raw and grainy with some roastiness. Feels a bit unbalanced.

Tap @ HBF15. Black colored, thin brown head. Lactose, vanilla, wood in aroma, some oatmeal. Flavor has vanilla, roastedness, milk chocolate, mild woody notes. Lactose sweetness. Easy to drink, but I’m not that fond of the milky sweetness.

(Draught at Kaisla, Helsinki, 30 March 2015) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with bread, citrus, orange peel and soft aromas of oatmeal. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of bread, citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, a touch of smoke and a dry finish with a balanced, citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Well balanced and tasty. Quite nice.
